2008 Midwest Regional & Shortline Railroad Annual Conference
Madden's on Gull Lake - Brainerd, MN July 13, 14 &15, 2008
On behalf of the Minnesota Regional Railroads Association, we would like to thank everyone for attending the conference at Madden's on Gull Lake in Brainerd, Minnesota.
This year's gathering was another great success. Attendance was great. Weather cooperated beautifully. Attendees had the golden opportunity to meet with US Congressman Tim Walz, as well as, State Senators Paul Koering and Steve Murphy and discuss issues relating to railroads. The panel discussions and break out presentations received great reviews, the entertainment was exciting and the location in the Brainerd Lakes area was well received.
Below you will find pictures of the events and links to the presentations from our various panelists. And last, but not least, thanks to everyone who filled out the evaluation forms. Your input helps us craft future conferences. This years winner of the $50 cash prize is Beverly Jaehning from Red River Valley and Western Railroad.
Again, on behalf of all the members of the MRRA, we would like to thank everyone for helping make this conference a great success. We hope to see you next year!
